UAE condemns terrorist attack in Orlando

ABU DHABI, 13th June, 2016 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist attack which took place last night in the US city of Orlando, Florida State, killing 50 people and wounded others.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced its solidarity with the United States, reiterating its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The statement also reiterated the ministry''s firm stance on the need for concerted efforts of the international community to eliminate the scourge of terrorism which is against all ethical and human values.

The ministry extended sincere condolences and sympathies to the US government, people and the families of the victims and wished for a speedy recovery for the wounded.
