UAE Embassy distributes Iftar baskets to underprivileged in Thailand

BANGKOK, 13th June, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE Embassy in Thailand has overseen the implementation of the Ramadan Project through the distribution of food supplies to 650 poor families in a number of areas in north-central Thailand.

The programme is being carried out in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, the Dar Al Ber Society and Sharjah Charity International.

Officials in the areas expressed thanks to UAE charities for their humanitarian efforts around the world, wishing President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan good health and prosperity.
