(MENAFN) A French auto maker aims to setup car assembly factory in Egypt in the coming period, which is set to operate using high rates of locally manufactured components.
Furthermore, the firm also plans to contract with Egyptian companies to produce automotive components in order to cover needs of the mother firm in France.
In addition, the automotive industry is an important one to which the government aims to develop to attract global firms to invest in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the French firm plans to invest in Egypt as it sent two missions to Egypt in Feb and April to study investments in automotive and industries fields.
