Kuwait- Egyptian mandoub escapes with KD 5,000


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The lawyer of Al-Rabya Cooperative Society has lodged a complaint at the area's police station against an Egyptian mandoub (representative), accusing him of betraying trust, reports Al- Anba daily. The Egyptian was entrusted to buy cell phones worth KD 5,000 but he fl ed to his home country with the money.

Wanted in 6 felony cases held: A Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law on six cases of felony was arrested in Hawally area, reports Al-Shahed daily. Hawally securitymen arrested the citizen at a security checkpoint after they checked his details and discovered he is wanted by law. According to a security source, the suspect swindled his victims by claiming that he is the manager of a prince in one of the GCC states. He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
