Hot day with warning of strong wind in Qatar

Doha: The weather forecast for Qatar valid until 6pm Sunday inshore will be hot with dust at places during the day.

The Department of Meteorology is warning of strong wind over all area and expects poor visibility due to dust inshore and, strong wind and high seas offshore.

Wind speed inshore will be northwesterly 20 to 30 knots, reaching 40 knots at places at times, offshore will be northwesterly 22 to 30 knots, reaching 35 knots at times at places.

Visibility will be 03 to 07/01 kilometers or less at places at times. The sea state inshore will be between two to four feet reaches five feet at places, offshore will be seven to ten feet, reaches 13 feet at times at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily report.
