Iran to raise exports to Russia within 10 days

(MENAFN) The Iranian government's decision to increase exports to Russia will see results within ten days, predicted the head of Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce, according to the latest reports.

A recent visit of Russia's president to the Islamic Republic has presented good opportunities to the country's trade and export division as the tariff for entry of ten Iranian goods to Russia has touched zero.

However, in spite the political resolve of Iranian and Russian authorities to extend trade relations, this goal has not yet been fulfilled as Iran has only exported goods worth USD50mnto Russia during March 20-April 20.

The Persian Gulf Republic has been repeatedly pointing out to the government's determination to step up bilateral trade with Russia for which proper decisions have been taken, and it seems things are going in the right path.
