Gulf Air Bahrain cuts 62 percent of 2015 losses


(MENAFN) Gulf Air Bahrain reduced its annual loss for last year by 62 percent to USD 63mn, which was enabled to manage its future growth.

On the other hand, the Bahraini carrier has been under restructuring since 2012, when its losses reached USD 516.34mn.

Meanwhile, the gov't-backed airline ordered 45 Boeing and Airbus aircraft with a whole of USD 7.6bn.

Moreover, the Bahraini carrier recently operates a fleet of 28 small and large Airbus airplanes, while the new aircraft will increase its global network.
