Iran decides to suspend LPG deliveries to Japan

(MENAFN) Iran has declared that the exports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Japan have been stopped but there were other customers for the product, based on recent reports.

An Iranian official stressed that there're no limits to the export of LPG in the post-sanction era, as many of customers are seeking LPG from Iran to the extent that demand exceeds supply.

Moreover, the Republic's top obstacle facing LPG exports has been the availability of ships; hence some buyers of Iran's LPG have managed to receive the product using their own carriers.

"Our Liquefied petroleum gas exports to Japan have stopped. At present, insurance issues and the availability of LPG carriers have almost been resolved," stated a top Iranian official.
