India is fully prepared to revive relations with US

(MENAFN) After decades of mistrust and fitful reconciliation efforts, the relationship between India and the United States is expected to reach new heights of collaboration, based on recent reports.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who is making his second visit to the White House in two years, is expected to approve a range of agreements with the United States on security cooperation and economic ties.

Additionally, the most important moment in Mr. Modi's visit is likely to come today when he is anticipated to announce that his country will formally comply with the Paris climate change agreement.

So far, countries representing about 50 percent of global emissions have declared that they will submit legal paperwork to the United Nations documenting their compliance with the agreement.
