Oman- 437 workers violate Labour Law

The weekly report of the Ministry of Manpower's (MoM) joint inspection team states that 437 workers were found violating the Labour Law between May29 and June 4.

North Batinah witnessed the largest number of workers violating the law with 139, followed by the Muscat governorate with 75 workers.

Authorities in MoM are taking legal action against them. On the other hand, MoM statistics showed that 286 expatriate workers were deported for violating provisions of the Labour Law and the ministerial decisions executing the law.
