Dubai aims 25 percent driverless transport by 2030


(MENAFN) Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA) proclaimed its plans to receive driverless mobility to 25 percent by 2030.

Furthermore, the RTA has achieved a 215 percent increase in public transport usage in Dubai fro, 2006-2015, and its investment into mass transportation will only increase.

Meanwhile, RTA's driverless mobility target was Easy mile, with the regional technology partner Omnix shown a four-wheeled autonomous vehicle, the EZ10.

The Group has secured the project to implement, operate and maintain the first bus network in Riyadh, involving 100 bus lines and three depots, in cooperation with Saudi's SAPTCO.
