Vodafone Egypt's revenue grows by 8.9 percent


(MENAFN) Vodafone Egypt's revenue increased by 8.9 percent in 2015, the revenue growth was attributed to the accelerated rise in its data transfer services sector.

Moreover, the firm's annual business report showed the group's profit value at USD 46.54bn and its operating profit at USD 1.58bn.

Meanwhile, number of internet users reached 462mn customers in many markets and the firm was able to add 16mn new customers from April 2015 to March 2016.

In addition, the number of 4G service users grew to 47mn customers, whereas the number of broadband internet users touched 13.4mn customers.
