Qatar Cricket Association coaching clinic a success

Doha: The Qatar Cricket Association (QCA), under the Presidency of M.A Shahid, conducted a basic cricket coaching clinic for 16 male and female coaches with an eye on future.

The chief purpose of the clinic was to impart elementary coaching knowledge to the participants so that they can be trained to work for the promotion of the sport in the future.

The coaching clinic, in which three female coaches were also enrolled, was inaugurated by QCA General Secretary Manzoor Ahmad at the association office on May 22 and it lasted for four days.

Aruna D Silva, Mohammad Amjad Baig and Mrs. Shivani Mishra were the instructors and gave lectures to the participants on various subjects of coaching.

Those who attended the clinic were, Gokul Raj Chakrawarthy, Ashwin Vishwanathan, Jithu John Koshy, Wasim Azam, Mujtaba Saeed, Miss Ambika, Miss Trupti Kale, Miss Hiral Agarwal, Ajith TM, R.M Kasun Gaya, M.M.M. Nashad, Syed Sharfuddin, Shaikh Hassan Surve, Qamar Sadiq Khan, Riyaz Zainuddin and Santhosh Kumar.
