Egypt, Germany sign cooperation deal at USD 174mn


(MENAFN) Egypt signed with Germany a two-year cooperation agreement value almost USD 174mn.

Moreover, the deal involves Germany's USD 113.65mn loans and USD 60.23mn grant at a rate of 2 percent.

Meanwhile, both sides will collaborate in the fields of renewable energy, technical education, climate change and housing.

The recent deal between both countries involves sanitation and irrigation among financing sanitation projects as well as renewable energy.
