President's guest scholars arrive in UAE

ABU DHABI, 5th June 2016 (WAM) --- A group of 25 Muslim scholars from Egypt and India today arrived in the UAE at an invitation of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As an annual tradition, scholars come to the UAE to preach and deliver lectures in the UAE throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Mohammed Matar Al Kaabi, and officials from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs welcomed the group at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
He praised H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, for following up the annual tradition.
Al Kaabi also noted that al-Azhar institution has been promoting moderation for centuries.
