UAE Embassy in Lebanon to launch Iftar Project in holy month of Ramadan

BEIRUT, 5th June, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE Embassy in Lebanon has announced the launch of "UAE Iftar Project for Ramadan 1437 H" in Lebanon on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. More than 233,4 Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian people will benefit from the project.

The Director of Attache for Humanitarian and Development Affairs Office at the UAE Embassy, Muslim Al Mansouri, said this year's project would complete last year's ''Iftar Project." That project had been provided by the UAE in the past in Lebanon, and involved a number humanitarian and charitable organisations working in the UAE.

The project, held under the patronage of the UAE Embassy in Lebanon, will cover various Lebanese areas. It will involve distribution of food parcels, hot meals and group Iftar to support productive poor families who prepare Iftar meals in order to improve their living conditions.
