Longest daytime in Kuwait on Ramadan day 17th
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 5 (KUNA) -- The 17th day of the Holy Month of Ramadan, coinciding with June 22nd, is the longest day of the year with 14 hours and two minutes of daytime, Kuwait Civil Aviation meteorologist Essa Ramadan said on Sunday.
In an interview with KUNA, the Kuwaiti meteorologist said that the daytime average of the fasting month will be at around 14 hours, adding that Ramadan this year coincided with the summer solstice.
Temperature in Kuwait will soar, partly due to the solstice phenomena, said Ramadan, adding that the heat will be felt especially during the noon time.
Temperatures will gradually lower by September, said the official. (end) mf.haq
