(MENAFN) A deal to construct a bus assembly unit with a capacity of 2,000 units between Oman and Qatar is predicted to enhance the attractiveness of Duqm.
Moreover, the bus unit will attract USD 10bn investment, which will enhance the status of the port city as an ideal center for transshipment to the local markets.
On the other hand, these deals give the needed fillip to the Sultanate's efforts in attracting foreign investment in Duqm.
Meanwhile, Duqm and Qatar's Karwa Automobiles have signed a deal for allocating 1mn square meters of land for building an automobile assembly.
