Jordan- Hot weather continues today


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 5 (Petra)--Hot weather is expected in most regions across the Kingdom on Sunday with high clouds and south westerly moderate winds raising dust in the southern and eastern regions.

The heatwave that affected the Kingdom over the past three days is expected to gradually ease off as of tonight, when the weather will change into moderate, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Winds will be north westerly moderate to brisk blowing dust in the eastern parts of the Kingdom.

A drop in temperatures is expected on Monday and Tuesday with moderate conditions in hilly areas but relatively hot in the Badia and eastern plains.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 37 degrees Celsius and a low of 20 degrees while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 43 degrees Celsius and a low of 27 degrees.
