Qatar- Somalia, Turkey Sign 9 Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Mogadishu, June 03 (QNA) - Somalia and Turkey have signed nine agreements and memoranda of understanding in the security, military, health and economic sectors at the end of a one-day visit for Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan to Mogadishu.
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Erdogan said his country is ready to build a comprehensive relationship with African countries, including Somalia.
In turn, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud praised Ankara's efforts to assist his country during the difficult times it is going through.
The Somali president stressed the need for his country to benefit from the development projects undertaken by Turkish firms. (QNA)
