Saudi- Bangla PM receives Vice President of IDB

Jeddah, Sha'ban 29, 1437, Jun 5, 2016, SPA -- Prime Minister of Bangladesh Shaikha Hasina Wajed received at her guest residence in Jeddah today the Vice President of the Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank Dr. Ahmed Tiktik.
Following the meeting, Dr. Tiktik told SPA that the bank has, since its inception, provided Bangladesh with loans worth $20 billion, including more than $1 billion worth of projects in the field of energy, education, rural development and urban development currently under construction.
For his part, Tiktic added that the Bangladeshi government has received a gift project from late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud worth $130 million to build 90 resorts and schools in addition to 83 schools and ten movable clinics in remote areas which will be ready next year.
The meeting was attended by Bangladeshi ambassador to the Kingdom Abdullah bin Hajjaj Al-Mitairi and Hasina's official accompanying delegation.
