Qatari Embassy accredited mission: Nato


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Brussels: The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato) has announced the Qatari Embassy in Belgium as an accredited mission to Nato and its Ambassador as Head of the Mission.

Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg expressed confidence that this step would benefit Qatar and Nato on practical and political levels, through upgrading institutional work between them, which will contribute to strengthening their partnership within the framework of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative. He congratulated Qatari Ambassador to Belgium Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani who is now the first Qatari Ambassador to Nato.
