Oman- City Cinema hosts UEFA league final

Another spectacular evening filled with fun, frolic and excitement. Bringing in versatility to the movie going experience, City Cinema screened the UEFA Championship final match live from San Siro Stadium, Milan played between two of the finest Spanish teams in Europe i.e. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on May 28.

Real Madrid Captain Sergio Ramos struck the opening goal just after 15 minutes into the game giving fans the first taste of happiness. But, 79 minutes into the game, Yannik Carrasco from Atletico Madrid brought the teams back to the same level and pushed the match into a scoreless extra time, leading into the penalties.

After two hours of a fantastic football game and eight penalties, Cristiano Ronaldo claimed the winning goal in the finals of the Champion's League. Real Madrid won the 11th European Cup, beating Atletico Madrid; 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

City Cinema partnered with 'Pena Madrista Oman' along with Bank of Beirut to host this match live at Shatti.

Football lovers all came together sharing their passion for the game and bringing extreme levels of energy.
