PORTLAND - Jason Derting joins Metal Toad, a Portland-based web, mobile, and cloud consultancy. He brings over 15 years of enterprise technology leadership to Metal Toad and a wealth of experience in building performance companies.
In 1997, Mr. Derting founded Pacific Legal, a parent company to Discover-e Legal and Novitas and was an industry pioneer in the field of processing electronic data for litigation. Under his leadership, Discover-e Legal and Novitas directed the development of more than 100 litigation-specific applications, with multiple software patents-pending, within the litigation support services arena.
Mr. Derting has a proven past of building strong teams that deliver results and scaling small business into mid-sized juggernauts. In 2006, the Portland Business Journal sited Discover-e Legal as the fastest growing technology company in Oregon and the company is still alive and well today. Today, he has served on the Raphael House Board of Directors and is an active member in Portlands Young Presidents Organization (YPO) community.
Mr. Derting joins Mr. Tim Winner and Mr. Tony Rasmussen on Metal Toads Executive Leadership Team. Along with their visionary President and Founder, Mr. Joaquin Lippincott, they are driving and inspiring Metal Toad and its clientele, including Sony, Daimler, Disney, ABC, Intel, and many more.
