Japan to ink an agreement with Turkey on 5G tech

(MENAFN) Turkey will collaborate with Japan on 5G technology, thus a deal will be signed between Turkey's technologies authority and Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, which makes use of the Internet faster.

The mutual statement will be mainly about growing cooperation on 5G issues. It will also consist of the reinforcement of social and economic ties between the two nations through science and technology.

The deal will support the setting the 5G infrastructure to international standards, and improvement to the latest technology, therefore paving the way for Turkey for a much brighter future which includes all sectors.

The fifth generation of telecommunications systems will be much faster than the current 4G network; by 2020 there will be more than 30 times as much mobile Internet traffic as there was in 2010 according to the European Commission.
