Saudi, Italy sign deal to boost Italian products in Kingdom


(MENAFN) Italian export agency SACE signed a contract with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) which will enhance relations and identify new chances for firms.

Furthermore, the deal also aims to strengthen economic-commercial relations between both countries, while Italian firms will have a point of contact at the Chamber of Commerce.

Accordingly, with USD 1.1bn of exposures, Saudi Arabia ranks third in the Italian firm portfolio of initiatives in the Middle East and they are working on new projects value USD 1.89bn.

Meanwhile, main areas of collaboration will involve sectors of interest like co-organization of events and seminars focusing on sectors of common interest to expand the reach of SACE.
