UN Envoy: violations to cessation of hostilities in Yemen are unacceptable

Kuwait, Sha'ban 24, 1437, May 31, 2016, SPA -- UN Special envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on Monday expressed concerns about violations of cessation of hostilities in Yemen, stressing that these violations are unacceptable because of their serious impact on various key sectors in the country.
"Stabilizing the situation is a fundamental demand of the Yemeni people," the UN Special envoy said in a statement after bilateral meetings he held with Yemeni delegations participating in the ongoing peace consultations in Kuwait.
He pointed out that the security issues dominated the bulk of the bilateral meetings he held wtih both delegations today, according to Kuwait News Agency.
