Qatar Chairs Arab Group's Annual Coordination Meeting in ILO

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Geneva, May 29 (QNA) - The Arab Group in the International Labor Organization (ILO) Sunday held its annual coordination meeting under the chairmanship of HE Qatar's Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad al-Jafali.
The meeting came ahead of the start of the 105th Session of the International Labor Conference 2016. it was attended by Director-General of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) Fayez Ali Al Mutairi, ILO Regional Director for Arab States Dr. Ruba Jaradat and heads of Arab States delegations.
The aim of this meeting, which is organized by ALO, is to discuss and exchange views on a number of issues that fall within the concerns and priorities of the Arab countries and their development needs in order to develop a common vision and Arabic consensus that helps to strengthen the Arab capabilities to advocate its interests in international fora.
The meeting also reviewed the outcomes of the 43th Arab Labor Conference which was held in Cairo in April 2016. (QNA)
