Kuwaiti diplomat, Uzbek official discuss economic ties

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ahmad Khaled Al-Jeeran met with the Uzbek Minister of Economy Galina Saidova, discussing ways to boost economic and bilateral ties, said a statement by the Kuwaiti Embassy on Monday.
The Kuwaiti Ambassador underscored the importance of internal security to the development and prosperity of any nation.
In this context, Al-Jeeran affirmed that Kuwait was willing to support and cooperate with Uzbekistan on all possible levels, namely within the economic level.
On her part, Saidova thanked Kuwait for its contributions to the development projects in the central Asian nation.
