UAE- Mansour bin Zayed attends ENS graduation ceremony

ABU DHABI, 29th May 2016 - (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, attended on Sunday , in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, the graduation ceremony, held at the Emirates Palace Hotel, of 149 male and female students from the campuses of Emirates National Schools, ENS, in Mohamed bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi City and Al Ain City.

Also present were Ahmed Mohammed Al Hemairi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of ENS Board of Directors, Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, senior officials, educational personalities and parents of the graduates.

H.H. Sheikh Mansour said the UAE's wise leadership views education as a process for sustainable development that requires keeping up with the latest modern teaching techniques, as well as motivating students to excel.

He urged the graduating students to participate in international school contests and reach top positions in worldwide academic performance indices.

He also called upon the teaching staff to instill innovation and encourage students to explore and perform research. He further congratulated the students and their parents, and praised the staff for their persistence in shouldering their social responsibilities.

Later, H.H. Sheikh Mansour honoured the graduates and their parents, as well as the strategic partners of Emirates National Schools.
