Kuwait's FM heads to Jeddah to attend GCC ministerial meeting


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 29 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left the country Sunday, heading to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to take part in the 139th session of the GCC Foreign Ministers Council.

A statement by the Foreign Ministry also added that the minister will also partake in the fifth GCC-UK Strategic Dialogue Meeting.

The meetings are held ahead of the 16th Gulf leaders' consultative summit next Tuesday.

Upon departure, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled was seen off by Ambassador Dhari Al-Ajran and other senior foreign ministry officials. (end) haq
