Qatar- Turkish Artillery Kills 104 ISIS Militants in Syria
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ankara, May 28 (QNA) - Turkish military sources have said Saturday their forces had killed a total of 104 ISIS militants in Syria.
The Turkish artillery killed the militants who were on the verge of firing rockets towards nearby Turkey, Anadolu Agency quoted the sources as saying.
During the operations, seven defensive positions and four mortars belonging to ISIS were destroyed.
Since mid-January, ISIS rockets have been targeting towns and cities in southern Turkey, close to the Syrian frontier. A total of 21 people, including Syrians sheltering in Turkey, have been killed and more than 70 others wounded. (QNA)
