Gargash heads UAE delegation at Arab Foreign Ministers meeting

CAIRO, 28th May, 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, headed the UAE delegation at the extraordinary meeting of the Arab foreign ministers, held in Cairo to discuss the developments of the Palestinian issue, the situation in Libya and Yemen and preparations for the next Arab League Summit, to be held in Nouakchott, Mauritania.

The UAE delegation includes Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Juma Mubarak Al Jenaibi; Director of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr Jassim Al Khloufi; Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy in Cairo, Fatima Al Mazrouie, and In-Charge of the UAE Permanent Mission to the Arab League, Hani bin Huwaiden.

Bahrain's Foreign Minister, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, chaired the meeting in which Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, Fayez Al-Sarraj, and Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil el-Araby, delivered speeches.
