Pakistan predicts 10 percent hike in exports to UAEpakis

(MENAFN) Pakistan is aiming at a 10 percent increase in exports to the UAE, which has touched USD3 billion in its last fiscal year 2014-15.

The y-o-y joint trade capacity has climbed 11 percent to USD9 billion in the past two years, but there's a huge potential to further enhance these figures.

In more detail, the UAE imports perishable vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, rice, engineering and electrical products, textiles and ICT products from Pakistan.

"To capitalize on growth potential, Pakistan embassy is more active to invite more trade delegations, targeting more participation in trade shows in the UAE," said Pakistan's Ambassador to the UAE.
