(MENAFN) Hyundai Motor Co. became the best-selling car brand in Australia last month, due to brisk sales of its compact cars.
Moreover, Hyundai Motor sold 6,324 cars in Australia in April, exceeding Japan's Toyota with 6,035 cars.
In addition, the Korean automaker's best-selling models were compact cars, involving i30 and the Accent.
A whole of 4,143 i30s were sold in the cited month, up 80.3 percent from a year earlier, while sales of the Accent soared 177.7 percent on-year.
