Indian School Muladha students visit US

Indian School Muladha organised its first international study tour to NASA from May 5-16 for the students of classes VI-XII.

The tour party included a group of 50 students along with the accompanying teachers, S I Shareef, principal, Niyas Ahamed, tour coordinator, Anitha Jerson, academic supervisor and Nisha Suresh, senior chemistry teacher.

The team arrived at the JFK International Airport on May 6. The great cultural heritage of the USA mesmerised the visitors. The views of the great country was so inspiring and promising and the school team became a part and parcel of its richness and vagaries for the following days. The first trip was to New York. The grand Empire State Building, Ground Zero Area and the Statue of Liberty made the viewers awestruck by their enchanting sculptures and the magical engineering works.

The visit to Niagara Falls moved the students by its serene and delightful beauty. The University at Buffalo, one of the topmost universities in the US, was another wonderful world for the students. Master Kasim guided the team to explore the vastness of the university and he took the team to each nook and corner of the campus to feel its high nobility and tradition.

The team paid a visit to Central Building, the White House and various museums in Washington DC. It's a great experience for the students to visit the central capital of the US and to see the official residence and the principal workplace of the US president. The visit to Florida was the most amazing experience for the team. The team enthralled to see the remarkable team of astronauts and the extent of advanced technology in the NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The team spent two days there and witnessed various activities ensued in the study center. They were lucky to have an interaction session with Robert Bob Springer, a veteran astronaut of both NASA and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
