UAE- Minister of State for Happiness receives Slovenian delegation

DUBAI, 24th May, 2016 (WAM) -- Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness, has received Boris Koprivnikar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, along with a high-level delegation visiting the UAE to review its distinctive government work experiences.

During the meeting, Ohood Al Roumi welcomed members of the delegation and said that the UAE government will continue to develop pioneering experiences in performance, policies and government programmes and services, as well as building national capacities and innovative practices to build a knowledge-based economy, through transforming government action to an environment for innovation.

AL Roumi also stressed that the UAE government is keen to establish constructive and cooperative relations with all countries in the region and the world and benefit from the exchange of expertise and sharing of best international experiences and practices in various areas of government action.

The Slovenian delegation was briefed on the themes of UAE Vision 2021, the country's government experience and the national agenda and its development towards achieving the vision.

The delegation were also briefed on the UAE's experience in developing the government performance and the projects and initiatives of the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation and its efforts in promoting the use of innovation in various aspects of government work.
