Malaysian traditional dancing attracts tourists

KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 (KUNA) -- The variety of traditional Malay dancing had been an intriguing activity that attracted many tourists from around the globe.
Indigenous Malaysian dancing such as "Mak yong", "Silat", and others, have usually celebrated the warrior heritage of the country with some; such as Silat, becoming a fully-fledged form of martial arts.
Chinese, Indian, and Arabic traditions have also had their influences seep into Malaysian dancing and that was due to the cultural diversity of the Southeast Asian nation. (end) aab.gta
