S. Korea enjoys robust farming revenues over 2015


(MENAFN) The average income of South Korea's farming and fishing households continued to increase from a year earlier in 2015, according to the latest reports.

The average income of farming households touched USD31,398 last year, up 6.5 percent from the previous year, based on the report from Statistics Korea.

Consequently, the growth far overtook the average of all households here, whose monthly income grew at an average 1.6 percent on-year over the prior year.

The average spending of farming and fishing households also continued to cultivate from a year earlier but at a much slower pace than their income.
