UAE Ambassador meets Chief Minister of Maharashtra state in India

MUMBAI, 23rd May, 2016 (WAM) Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Banna, Ambassador of the UAE to India, has met with Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra State in India, at his residence in Mumbai.

They discussed issues of mutual concern between the UAE and Maharashtra State regarding co-operation, investment, trade and cultural exchange. They also tackled future co-operation domains with Maharashtra State in skill development, IT, tourism and urban development sectors.

Fadnavis called upon Emirati companies to visit the state. He also congratulated the ambassador on the UAE's new visa centre in Mumbai which will be opened soon.

Al Banna confirmed that the new centre will increase travel movement between the two sides, extending thanks for the support provided by the government in this regard.
