Ramadan working hours announced for UAE private sector

The working hours of private sector employees in the UAE will be reduced by two hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan, according to a circular issued by Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation on Monday.

The circular is in implementation of Article (65) of Federal Labour Law No. 8 of 1980 regarding work relations and its amendments thereof.

The minister congratulated President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and the UAE people and the Arab and Islamic Nation, on the occasion of Ramadan.

He also congratulated the government and people of the UAE, and expatriate residents, praying to Almighty Allah to revisit the occasion with more progress and prosperity for the UAE and with glory for the Arab and Islamic nations.
