(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, May 23 (KUNA) -- OPEC daily basket price stood at USD 44.77 a barrel last Friday compared with USD 43.84 per barrel the previous day, said a statement by the organization Monday.
The OPEC statement indicated that the monthly average for March and April were at USD 34.65 and USD 37.86 pb respectively. The Month-to-date average for May USD 42.50 pb.
The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
