Amal Abu Zaid wins Lebanon's parliamentary seat in Jezzine town

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, May 23 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Interior Ministry said Monday that the winner of the parliamentary seat for the south Lebanese town of Jezzine was Amal Abu Zaid.
A statement by the ministry said that Abu Zaid won 14,653 votes ahead of the other candidates.
The Jezzine town elections was held to fill in the seat of MP Michel Helou who passed away in 2014. (end) ayb.mb
