UAE- ADCO provides support to orphans sponsored by Khalifa Foundation

ABU DHABI, 22nd May, 2016 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, ADCO, has provided aid to orphans sponsored by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation as part of its national efforts and programmes to help those in need, in partnership with local government and social institutions.

A spokesman from the Khalifa Foundation said that the initiative is part of an ongoing strategy which aims to help citizens in need find jobs and provide various other kinds of assistance.

During an event which was held today at ADCO, toys and gifts were distributed to orphans.

The event was also held to mark Arab Orphan Day and pay respect and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for all the work it does to help needy groups in the community, especially orphans.
