Minster of Interior receives US Ambassador to Kuwait

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met on Sunday with US Ambassador to Kuwait Douglas Silliman, discussing with him issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled stressed the strong relatoins linking Kuwait and the US, a statement by the General Department of Relations and Security Media said.
On his part, US Ambassador Silliman expressed appreciation for Kuwait's role in supporting peace and security in the region.(end) hmd.ha
