UAE firms issue USD 3.6bn to projects in India


(MENAFN) Five Indian firms based in the UAE have issued more than USD 3.65bn for infrastructure and industrial development in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Additionally, the UAE-Indian firms have signed memoranda of understanding, aiming to invest in the state's upcoming manufacturing and utilities initiatives.

Meanwhile, the forum will focus on promoting trade, investment and economic collaboration between UP and the Middle East with investment chances in many sectors.

Moreover, the keynote address for the forum highlighted the government's keenness to drive development across the state via industrial and economic growth.
