AMMAN, May 22 (KUNA) -- Five people were killed in northeastern Al-Qamishli town in Heska province, Syrian security source said on Sunday.
The source told the Syrian news agency (SANA) that the attacker belonged to the So-called Islamic State (IS). The attack resulted also in the injury of 20 people.
The source added the attacker detonated his explosives, causing damage to nearby cars and shops. Two other culprits from IS were killed inside the restaurant.
The source said IS claimed responsibility for the attack. (end) tk.mb
