Qatar- HH the Emir Meets Yemeni President, UN Chief

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha, May 21 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani held a meeting with President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi of Yemen of the Republic of Yemen, and the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, on the sidelines of the 16th Doha Forum, at Doha Sheraton Hotel this evening.

Discussions the meeting dealt with the latest developments in Yemen and the Yemeni peace talks hosted by the State of Kuwait, particularly with regard to finding a solution for the return of Yemen's legitimate government delegation to these talks.

The Yemeni president agreed, during the meeting for the resumption of the Yemen's legitimate government delegation to the talks at the United Nations' guarantee to ensure that those talks are in accordance with the UN Security Council resolution No. 2216 .

In turn, the UN Secretary-General thanked HH the Emir for his good offices that led to persuade the Yemeni president to return the legitimate government delegation to Kuwait talks. (QNA)
