Aden, Shaba'an 14, 1437, May 21, 2016, SPA -- Yemeni President Abd Rabbou Mansour Hadi today said that the unified Yemen which was produced by the outcomes of the national dialogue represents the most important station in the path of Yemeni unity.
This came in a speech President Hadi addressed to Yemenis to mark the 26th anniversary of the national day of Yemen.
He added that the coup, led by the Houthis and deposed President Saleh was just meant to override the drafted constitution and the dream of Yemenis to bring about justice and principles of shared-power and wealth, calling on Yemenis to refrain from being dragged to sedition and sectarianism, goals of the Houthis influenced by a foreign nation that would like to damage the country.
Hadi said the coup contributed to the spread of terror and violence, triggering the government and its allies in the Arab Coalition to organize a fight to root out terrorism.
He expressed thanks to the Arab coalition, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for what they have and will do for the Yemeni people who would never forget this favor.
