KUWAIT, 19th May, 2016 (WAM) -- UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, has reiterated his call for the Yemeni negotiating teams to adopt a more constructive and responsible approach to the negotiations on the political, security and prisoners.

Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, quoted the UN Special Envoy to Yemen in a press release Wednesday night as reaffirming the readiness of the international community, notably the United Nations, to help the Yemeni parties reach a mutually-acceptable political solution and put an end to the human and material damage resulting from the armed conflict.

"Though the sponsors of the peace talks stand ready to offer any necessary help, the Yemeni negotiators are solely responsible for finding a comprehensive and enduring settlement to the conflict," he added.
